UKRAINE APPEAL
Have you been thinking about donating to the Ukraine Appeal and are not sure how to go about it?
We have organised a scheme for the village so that you can donate in the village. Any donations will be sorted and taken centrally to a main collection centre.
The Village Collection point will be in the Village Hall and, during Easter week, will be open between 9am and 9pm Tuesday 19th April 2022. Future dates will be advertised separately.
Listed below are broad details of what items are needed. Please do NOT bring clothes, alcohol or weapons.
To help with sorting we would be grateful if any donated items could be either new or clean and delivered in a bag.
We will not be collecting any personal details and the scheme does not attract Gift Aid status.

UKRAINE APPEAL ITEMS REQUIRED
Amongst other items the following are needed:
Civil items: External extension leads
Torches, Headlamps, Candles and lighters
Camping cookers and Gas
Medical: Painkillers and anti-biotics
Bandages, plasters, Tourniquets
Wound disinfectant
Food: Long life milk
Easy opening cans
Sunflower oil, rapeseed oil
Rice
Breakfast cereals
Pasta
Soups
Energy bars, biscuits, bars, dried fruit
Nuts
Children stuff: Nappies (Sizes 3-5 esp.)
Baby milk and Milk Powder
Meals in jars
Baby wipes
Thermos flasks, baby bottles, teats
Others: Personal hygiene products, dental bits, shampoo etc
Paper towels (all sorts)
Women’s hygiene products
Adult pads
Defence: Gas Lamps and Batteries
Sleeping bags and mats
Knee and elbow pads
Shell dressings, emergency first aid items
New, Thermal underwear, Underwear and Socks
