National Garden Scheme in Chipping Warden June 2017

On 4 June the Court House and Spring Cottage gardens opened for the afternoon for the first time under the NGS programme for cancer charities. Despite a dramatic cloud burst, over 150 visitors enjoyed spectacular borders, beautiful flowers, timeless trees, secret spaces and breathtaking views. Delicious teas were provided by Barbara Bartlett and her team, the proceeds of which have gone towards our church.

Many congratulations to Michelle Clamp, who has nurtured both gardens to their stunning best and also to John Bullock who has been equally indispensable at the Court House.

Both gardens anticipate taking part again in 2018 and maybe others will feel inspired to open up their gates too!
