You will all be ASTOUNDED to know that this weekend road closures are cancelled because Western Power Distribution still haven’t agreed work that involved removal of the Electricity pole in the carriageway opposite Allens Orchard. Apparently Mark Thurston (CEO Hs2) and Phillip Swift (CEO WPD) are regularly talking to try and resolve the problem. Since their combined salary is upwards of £1 million I despair what is happening in this country.
Apologies to those in Appletree Road, Allens Orchard and Banbury Road for further delays to removing the traffic management. But no amount of writing/pleading/shouting seems to have any effect.
I’m down to withering sarcasm now.
